Hemanta Biswa Sharma, 52, was born on 01 February 1969 in Jorhat, Assam. Before entering politics, he was the General Secretary (GS) of the Cotton College Union Society (CCUS). Why India needs a new education system 

The Modi government   has approved the new education policy. With this, the Ministry of Human Resource Development has been renamed as Ministry of Education.  Under the new education policy, the format of 10 + 2 has been completely abolished, understand this.
