Hemanta and Adityanath The New Face Of Hindutva

Hemanta Biswa Sharma, 52, was born on 01 February 1969 in Jorhat, Assam. Before entering politics, he was the General Secretary (GS) of the Cotton College Union Society (CCUS).

He played a big role in the victory of Congress in the 2011 assembly elections. Despite this, he did not get attention from Congress. In the year 2016, the BJP government was formed for the first time in Assam. Apart from CM Sarbananda Sonowal, Hemant Biswa Sarma also had a role in this success. Hemant was in Congress at that time, and before the election, he tried to meet Rahul Gandhi many times, but he was stopped from meeting Rahul every time. After this, he got angry and joined BJP.

With the entry of Hemant in BJP, the party got two strong leaders in Assam. One Sarbananda Sonowal, the other Hemant Biswa. In the Lok Sabha elections led by Sonowal, the BJP got a good response in Assam. So with Hemant joining the party, the organization became stronger in Assam and BJP had ousted the Congress from power.

In the year 2016, BJP created history and formed the government for the first time in the state by defeating the Congress which had been in power for 15 years. Since coming to power for the first time, BJP is no longer willing to take any risky step. That is why the party is fielding its candidates with great care. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonwal will contest from Majuli as last time and Hemant Biswa Sharma will contest from Jalukbari seat.

Hemanta a Hindutva brand. Biswa Sarma said that he has come to power only to work towards Indian culture. He said that every Hindustani is a Hindu because before the arrival of Babur all Hindus were here. He also said that wherever the people of the Hindu community are suffering, they should have the right to return to India. India is the homeland of every Hindu. That's why I always support CAA. India has been and will be a country of the Hindu community for thousands of years, but that does not mean that people of other communities cannot live here. Speaking on the issue of madrassas in News18's show 'Choupal', the Assam Chief Minister said, "The intention is to shut down madrasas. About seven hundred madrassas have been closed, to convert the rest into nursing schools and medical-engineering colleges.

Yogi Adityanath: The Hindu Dynast

At the age of 22, he had renounced worldly life and took sannyasa. Adityanath, who did B.Sc in Mathematics from Garhwal University, was elected MP from Gorakhpur in 1998. He was 26 years old at that time and had achieved the distinction of becoming the youngest MP.

After retiring from politics, Mahant Avaidyanath of Gorakhpur's famous Gorakhnath temple had declared Yogi Adityanath as his successor. Since then, Adityanath has been representing Gorakhpur continuously in Parliament. He was elected MP from Gorakhpur for the fifth consecutive time in 2014. Each time his margin of victory increased. Adityanath has been influenced by religion and spirituality from the very beginning.

Hindu Yuva Vahini formed in 2002

Adityanath formed his organization in the entire Purvanchal by forming Hindu Yuva Vahini on the day of Ram Navami in the year 2002. He had launched a campaign against religious conversion. While following the path of staunch Hindutva, he also gave controversial statements many times.Under his five-year rule, lynchings and hate speech against Muslims routinely made headlines, the state brought in a contentious regulation against interfaith weddings and arbitrarily shut down abattoirs and restaurants serving meat, mostly operated by Muslims.
